Castrinos was the lead singer of the indie folk band Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros from its inception in 2007 until 2014. She contributed to the band's hit songs like "Home", "That's What's Up" and "Man on Fire".
After she left the band, Castrinos released her debut solo album "Jade" in 2019, which received critical acclaim.
